Author Biography

Sajan George Thengumpally, Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram

Sajan George Thengumpally is the Judicial Vicar of the Arch eparchy of
Tellicherry, Kerala, India. He has obtained his Masters Degree in Oriental
Canon Law from the Institute of Oriental Canon Law at Dharmaram Vidya
Kshetram, Bangalore and doctorate from the Pontifical Oriental Institute,
Rome. The topic of his doctoral research was “Ecclesiastical judgement of
marriages between unbaptized persons: A Study Based on the Norms of the
Instruction Dignitas Connubii and the Context of the Syro-Malabar Church.”
He has published articles in various canon law journals.
