A man like St. John with profound divine experience has a interpretation of his own concerning human salvation. In each and every word of his writings one can detect the pulsation of a life lived in full conviction and a sense of fulfilment supported by a strong faith in a divine person who confronted him in the prime of his life and followed him until he breathed his last as an old sage at Ephesus.
