The Book of Revelation

The Book of RevelationAbstract
The Book of Revelation is unique in character in the New Testa- ment with its apocalyptic style, full of symbols whose classic o. T. example is the book of Daniel. In fact, Revelation does make use of apocalyptic, prophetic and epistolary literary forms. Our commentator, G. R. Beasley-Murray has succeeded in conveying to liS that John spoke to his fellow Christians in a way that appears unusual to an uninitiated modern reader. Scholarship and love of the Word of God appear in rare combination in this first-rate commentary on Revelation.
