The mystery of resurrection is at the heart of Christian faith and life. It is also the centre of Christian liturgical celebration. For the Eastern Christians the peace and joy of resurrection permeates in all their liturgy and spirituality. As T. Federici says, “for the Eastern Christians the Easter is the centre, fount, summit and all.” This article is a short enquiry into the writings of the septuagenarian Rev. Dr. Varghese Pathikulangara CMI,2 on the mystery of resurrectionthe key concept of his theological vision, and its expressions in the liturgy and life
