Abstract

Some people have gained the impression that sexual abuse by priests
is a very recent phenomenon. Those who are in the know, however,
realize that sexual improprieties have been going on quietly for a
long time and that, only in recent times, have they come into the
public limelight.

Author Biography

Aaron Milavec, Catherine of Siena Virtual College

Aaron Milavec holds a S.T.B. from the University of Fribourg and a Th.D. from the
Graduate Theological Union (Berkeley) in historical and systematic studies. He
served as a seminary and university professor for twenty-five years, and currently
functions as joint VP for Catherine of Siena Virtual College. Details at
