Abstract

Communalism and developmentalism symbolise the violent and unjust situation in the country today. If communalism is the perverted understanding and expression of religious sentiments, developmentalism is the distorted and misguided pursuit of social welfare. Apparently these two are unrelated questions;the one related to more individual and collective questions of faith; and the other belongs to more scientific field of planning and economy.
