Abstract

Spiritual leadership is understood and used in a variety of ways and far-reaching contexts. Pastors and all people in formation for pastoral tasks must become aware of the depth and breadth of spiritual leadership to carry out it in a meaningful manner. This paper is a modest way to explain the concept of spiritual leadership with its theological or ecclesial justification. Then we shall proceed to expose different facets of spiritual leadership. The paper shall conclude with a brief examination of the challenges to spiritual leadership.
