Abstract

This study was originally made as a dissertation presented to. the French University of Louvain, Belgium for author's doctorate degree in Theology. It consists of three parts, In the first two parts, consisting of three chapters each, 'sacrifice' is investigated, from .the perspective of Yeine and Eucheristie respectively. These parts have an introductory chapter each (Ch. I & IV) presenting the world-vision behind the Vedas and the Corpus Dionysiacum. The single chapter in the third part brings together the important results and conclusions of the study.
