Abstract

Every bapatized person in the Catholic Church is missionary. Some participate in the Church’s mission by virtue of the fundamental mandate obtained through baptism, in accordance with thier status and condition. Church officially sent some with special mandate as the heavenly Father sent Jesus Christ. Here I briefly discuss how the Syro-Malabar Church has been discharging this mandate even going beyond its proper territory in Kerala to other parts of India and abroad. With a brief historical note, I present the eparchies of the Syro-Malabar Church sui iuris outside, Kerala and her mission.
